The Covenant of Blessing

The Father and the covenant promise

The first part begins with God’s goodness. Follow the promise of blessing from Abraham to its fulfillment in Christ, consider the Father’s care for His children, and explore the power to get wealth. Learn to receive His provision with gratitude and let His Word shape the way you earn, spend, save, and give.

Seven expressions of giving

The second part examines seven expressions of giving and their biblical purposes:

• The tithe: honoring God through the principle of the first
• Offerings: responding to God with a willing heart
• Firstfruits: honoring Him with the first and considering the blessing on your house
• Alms: caring for the poor with compassion
• Sacrifice: understanding costly, willing generosity
• Honor: recognizing the person God uses
• Partnership: supporting traveling ministers and the work of the Gospel

Seedtime, harvest, and lasting increase

The final part explores faith for the harvest, wisdom that preserves increase, and trust in God during a difficult season. Giving, patience, honest work, wise decisions, and family responsibility belong together in a life of faith.

Keep your Bible open as you read. Alex explains biblical passages, identifies theological applications, and makes room for honest questions about prosperity and hardship. Chapter notes and a works-cited section support further study.
