There are two places that we can live in God: the ordinary or the extraordinary. We can dwell in what we see, the natural, or we can choose to set our faith in the supernatural things of God.
The Bible tells us of a man named Stephen who was chosen to do simple and what some would call ordinary tasks, serving tables and caring for widows. But the Bible says that Stephen was a man “full of faith and power did great wonders and miracles among the people.” (Acts 6)
Every “ordinary” man or woman can become mighty under the power and anointing of the Holy Ghost. As you go deeper into the things of God, He will take you from the mundane into the miraculous!
No matter what you’re doing today that may seem ordinary, God can turn it into the extraordinary by His Spirit. Ask God to awaken you to the fullness of all that He has for you. When you do, the same God that Moses, Elijah, Peter, Paul and Stephen had will work with you doing the extraordinary!
